Our Green Claims Policy
A framework for responsible environmental communications and sustainable business practices at
Our Framework and Commitment
As a company that is in its early stages of growth, this policy primarily serves as a cultural, governance, and risk-management framework for Quanturisk Analytics rather than as a register of active green claims.

Given our early stage of development, this policy distinguishes between (a) foundational principles and controls that apply today, and (b) enhanced processes that will be implemented as our scale, resources, and marketing activity increase.

As signatories of The Anti-Greenwash Charter, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of responsible marketing and communications practice.

The purpose of our Green Claims Policy (GCP) at our current stage is to set the cultural, governance and risk-management framework, and to indicate the enhanced processes we will adopt throughout our organisation as we scale, to ensure green claims made about our products/services are accurate and substantiated, and at that stage also third-party verified

This policy applies to all the forms of marketing and communications we use or will be using, including online marketing (including social media marketing), direct marketing, events, trade/sales, and other professional promotions and communications.
Our Standards
Irrespective of our stage of development, we commit to the standards of practice set out in The Anti-Greenwash Charter, which are as follows:
Transparency
Clear communication without concealment
We commit to clear communication of what environmental benefit our product or service offers and won't conceal or omit information.

We substantiate our green claims with accurate, and regularly evaluated empirical evidence. We commit to sharing facts, figures and statements that can be checked.
Accountability
Evidence-based claims you can verify
Fairness
Clear and unambiguous comparisons
We will ensure we make specific statements about our organisation's environmental efforts and that our actions match those promises.

We will ensure we make specific statements about our organisation's environmental efforts and that our actions match those promises
Honesty
Actions that match our promises

Where We Could Improve
At Quanturisk Analytics, we are only at the beginning of our relatively young company journey, which requires nimbleness and agility. At our current stage, the most important aspect is to set the appropriate cultural, governance and risk management framework. We are not yet making any green claims in our very limited marketing efforts and external communications, nor do we have many documented and specific processes.
As we scale and will add more resources and engage more actively with our external stakeholders, we need to ensure that we will adapt our governance and implement the right processes commensurate with our growth stage and our marketing activities at that time.
Our Solutions Focus
While we have not yet made any green claims, our solutions nevertheless focus on providing our customers with insights on the risks stemming from the internalisation of negative social and environmental externalities in their own business and in their value chain, thus helping them to improve their resilience and their sustainability footprint.
Our Commitment
In all of our undertakings, we are committed to high standards of rigour, transparency and honesty, and this includes our own sustainability-focused solutions, as well as our own sustainable footprint, and we are committed to continuous improvement in all of these processes, including our sustainability practices.
The people who drive Quanturisk forward - from the very top onwards - are key to live, embody and represent this desired culture and govern this company in alignment with the letter and spirit of this Green Claims Policy.
And as we scale, we will regularly review our culture, our governance and our progress against our strategies and objectives.

Our Practices
At our current stage, we will adhere to the first and aspire to the other practices and procedures, which we will be gradually implementing as we scale, to ensure we uphold the aforementioned standards:
Culture & Governance
-
Establish a sustainable, fair and transparent culture
-
Clearly define the green terms we use
-
Provide third-party verified evidence for the claims we make
-
Establish a scientific advisory council to advise on and review our methodologies
Communications & Content
-
Set standards for authentic and accurate visual representation
-
Outline a clear editorial process for our publications
-
Detail the training we provide to our employees
-
Ensure responsible use of AI in content creation
Accountability & Excellence
-
Implement an escalation procedure for internal & external complaints and create an open-door policy
-
Explain how we support partners and collaborators
-
Commit to regular reviews and effective governance
-
Maintain strict legal compliance
Not as a firm commitment, but as an intention, we also want to have a culture of process excellence, supported by Lean Six Sigma, which will show clear process steps, the owners of these processes, the inputs needed and the outputs created, and such a clear structure shall support the above commitments.
Green Terms Glossary
At our current stage, we don't expect to be making green claims in our external communications. However, we are using certain 'green' terms to describe our products, which are explained at a very high level below.
For a more detailed, methodological explanation, please contact us at info@quanturisk.com.
As we will ramp up our product offering, our outreach and marketing efforts and external communications, we will also review and update this Green Terms Glossary.

Definition

Sustainability is the principle of meeting present needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. At Quanturisk, we use a slightly different definition: The absence of meaningful negative environmental and social externalities

Physical risks associated with climate change refer to direct, tangible impacts arising from climate-related hazards. Key physical risks include the following: Heatwaves, Flooding, Tropical cyclones & severe storms, Wildfires, Droughts, Sea-level rise
Transition risk of climate change refers to the financial, operational, and strategic risks that arise from the global shift toward a low-carbon, climate-resilient economy. These risks stem from changes in policy, regulation, technology, market dynamics, and societal expectations as governments, businesses, and consumers act to mitigate climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Water-usage related risks stem from two sources: First, from the financial quantification of the impact on the wellbeing of people through changes in the condition of the natural environment caused by water consumption, and Secondly from the increasing likelihood that companies consuming water will need to pay the full 'social cost' of water consumption.
Example

We at Quanturisk measure sustainability with the 'social cost 'concept: When a person or company pay the full social cost of a resource they use (e.g. water), or for an output they create (e.g. CO2e emissions), then they are acting in a sustainable way.

We at Quanturisk measure physical risk by using global studies that model the impact of all these risks on a country's GDP, which we then correlate with the revenue of companies operating in that country, adjusting for the different asset intensity (and thus exposure) in different industries.
At Quanturisk, we measure transition risk as the risk that a company may need to pay the full social cost for the ongoing impact that their GHG emissions create

At Quanturisk, we use the social cost of water consumption and we model the likelihood that water prices that companies pay will over time reach such social cost levels.
At our current stage, Quanturisk Analytics operates fully remotely and therefore has little influence over the carbon and water footprint of its individual staff.
As we scale, we will build out this green claims glossary to keep it aligned with the growing social, carbon and water footprint the company and its employees will have, as well as with any external communications that we will be doing.
If you come across a term you don't understand and can't find it on this list, email us at info@quanturisk.com for clarification.

Verified Claims Database
At our current stage, we are not making any 'green' claims that need verifying. As we scale, we intend to build a database with all verified greenclaims that we will be making.
That being said, our core focus is on 'measuring' sustainability-related risks, which provide scenario-driven model outputs based on assumptions and simplifications to help making decisions.
We commit to undertaking these modelling activities, to defining scenarios and to making assumptions without an ulterior motive or without predetermined outcomes in mind, and to use best efforts and to be guided by our professional integrity.
Scientific Review
As we scale, we intend to have our models and outputs reviewed by a scientific advisory council, and we commit to collaborating with trusted third-party verifiers to ensure that any green claims that we will be making will be specific, relevant, and aligned with life-cycle principles.
Employee Wellbeing
Equally, we value a diverse, equitable and inclusive employee workforce, with trust, transparency and employee wellbeing ranking very high, and as we scale we want to use both internal and independent external feedback and support to understand our strengths and weaknesses and continuously work to improve any shortcomings.
Use of Imagery & Colour
We recognise the powerful impact of visual representation in communications in shaping perceptions. At the same time, we acknowledge theneed for creatives to have the freedom to explore and innovate, and we also acknowledge the attractiveness of AI-enablers such as Gamma, that can create presentations and brochures with AI-generated images.
Therefore, at this stage of our corporate evolution we will provide best efforts not to use misleading images, and we will not make any greenclaims that are supported by misleading images.
As we scale, we will put into place processes and controls to ensure we will use images and colours in an accurate, authentic, truthful, transparent and culturally sensitive way, supported by adequate control processes that accompany and support the creative process.
For any concerns or questions regarding the imagery and colours used in our materials, or if you believe we are not adhering to thestandards set out in this section, please contact us at info@quanturisk.com.
We appreciate feedback and are dedicated to continuous improvement in our visual communications.
Editorial Processes and Training
Editorial Processes
All external communications are subject to human review to ensure accuracy and consistency with this policy. The depth and formality of our review will scale in line with the growing volume and impact of our communications.
Training
At our current stage, Quanturisk does not centrally train its voluntary staff.

Once recruitment commences, our new employees will participate in in-house training sessions on our culture, our sustainable and anti-greenwashing practices, our Green Claims Policy, and The Anti-Greenwash Charter's standards, to ensure they fully understand the issues and benefits, and this will be repeated in annual refresher training sessions to review changes in regulations, best practices, and our policy.
And as we scale, our training processes will be regularly updated and transparently documented.
Use of AI
We utilise AI tools to assist in the creation of content, particularly for the creation of code, the building of our platform, the construction of UI, for data analysis, report and presentation generation, and content personalisation. To maintain the integrity of our products including any potential green claims, all AI-generated content is rigorously reviewed by human reviewers before publication.

Even though we actively use (and encourage the use of) AI in our processes, we very much uphold the individual's responsibility at Quanturisk to ensure that any AI-generated or supported content aligns with our culture and our sustainability values and is aligned with thisGreen Claims Policy.
As we scale, our processes and controls need to mature in parallel to ensure continuous alignment with The Anti-Greenwash Charter's standards.

Escalation Procedure
We recognise that our stakeholders play a crucial role in our efforts to combat greenwashing. Therefore, we commit to responding to any emails regarding our green claims within three working days.
To support this, we will include our Certified Signatory Declaration (see below) at the bottom of all relevant campaigns to highlight our commitment to transparency and invite feedback. The declaration encourages stakeholders to review our Green Claims Policy and outlines how they can escalate concerns for independent review.
If you have any questions/ feedback on this policy or our green claims, please email us at info@quanturisk.com for clarification. Alternatively, you can submit any greenwashing concerns directly to The Anti-Greenwash Charter for an independent review here.
Stakeholder Education
Our strategy for stakeholder education involves creating awareness of the full social costs of using inputs and producing outputs that impact the environment and the society, and by quantifying these costs. This will ultimately result in more 'holistic prices' that reflect the full social costs, rather than allowing negative externalities to be excluded from price signals.
We believe that by broadening the understanding of the 'social costs' of using inputs and producing outputs, it enables stakeholders to make much more educated decisions based on a 'holistic price' that contains all relevant information, overcoming the current shortfall of prices as they don't capture all the negative externalities of a product.
We will endeavour to design this content to be accessible and engaging, helping to raise awareness and understanding of key environmental issues.

Partnerships & Collaborations
We are dedicated to promoting sustainability and responsible marketing and communications practice across our network of partners and collaborators.
As these partnerships will evolve in line with our own growth, we will actively engage with our partners to encourage alignment with our sustainability values and the principles outlined in this policy.
As we select our partners, we will be looking for partners that share our valuesaround sustainability and green claims, and we will not engage with partners if that required us to materially soften our own objectives and commitments under this charter.
Reviews of Content
Our Review Process
Ensuring alignment with our policy standards
We will review all of our external marketing and communication content before publishing it, to ensure it is aligned with this policy.
The depth and formality of our reviews will scale withthe volume and impact of our communications.

Legal Compliance
We have a strong commitment to legal compliance, including in the area of green claims. At our current stage, we primarily focus on the appropriate culture and governance to ensure compliance.
As we scale, we will make sure that these processes and controls will grow at a commensurate pace to keep us fully aligned with our compliance culture as well as the requirements of this charter and any laws and regulations.
Governance of this Policy
Our Chief Executive Officer is responsible for ensuring that our compliance with this Green Claims Policy is reviewed annually. Any non-compliance with this policy will be brought to the attention of the Leadership Team, who will decide on further actions and whether the mattershould be escalated further.
Campaign Reviews
As a committed signatory of The Anti-Greenwash Charter, we actively engage in an on-going review process to ensure compliance with our Green Claims Policy.
As we grow, we will build out our processes and controls to ensure compliance of our marketing campaigns with our own Green Claims Policy, including ultimately through the use of third-party verifiers, whose reports we will make public, ensuring an added layer of transparency and accountability.
We are fully aware that any instances of non-compliance may result in the revocation of our certified signatory status, underscoring the importance of continuous compliance and transparency in our operations

Claim Verification
Our Verification Approach
As we scale, we will endeavour to convene a Scientific Advisory Board to review our methodologies and ensure that our processes are commensurate with our stated objectives of quantifying environmental and social risks.
We will then also decide whether we will engage another third party to verify additional sustainability claims that we may be making by then.
